Private, Secure On-site Crematory
The Grenoble Family continues a tradition of personal care by investing back into the community. We are proud to offer a state-of-the-art crematory & crematorium facility located at our funeral home in Watsontown, Pennsylvania. Even though all funeral homes advertise cremation services, most people are surprised to learn that the cremation process itself is subcontracted to third parties. This will not happen when you call us in your time of need.
Our Private On-Site Crematory
"Your loved ones never leave our care"
We feel it is very important that we give the absolute best service to all our families. With our personally owned and operated crematory, we can assure that your loved ones never leave our care throughout the cremation process.
In operation since the Summer of 2009, our crematory is used exclusively for families we serve. By owning our own Crematory, we can provide 24-7 service, including weekends and holidays. We also avoid charging you cremation fees, cremation containter (required by law) fees and transportation fees. We are able to offer one package price to cover all of your funeral home costs.
With funeral homes in Muncy, Watsontown and Lewisburg, our crematory is conveniently located in the middle of all three locations at our Watsontown facility.
We feel it is very important to educate as much as we can on cremation and how it evolved in the funeral industry. Cremation is nothing more than a form of disposition. Other forms of disposition are burial and body donation. With cremation, you still have options to allow family and friends to get closure and pay their final respects. Two of the most common ways to do this are with a full traditional viewing and funeral before cremation. This type of cremation service is exactly like a traditional funeral service, except there is no casket burial in a cemetery. Following the funeral, the cremation process would take place, and the ashes can either be buried or returned to family members. Another common way of remembering a loved one is having a memorial service following cremation. In this example, the
cremation service and process would take place first and a service is held with or without the ashes present.
