So sorry I didn’t know Fred had passed.
Fred and my husband used to work on old cars together and were good friends when he worked at BAE. Fred was a very wonderful person.... always willing to help others. Before my husband passed 6/10/17 he always asked me if anyone had seen Fred lately....little did we know. So sorry.

My SINCERE condolence. Fred and I flew together at VQ-3 and then, later, at VQ-4. I remember, when we were sent to Pax River from Guam to provide transition assistance to a modified system, he bought a St. Bernard when we were in Germany? Denmark? and how we all got such a kick out of the pup when he couldn't stand during an orbit (3gs felt).
I remember MANY other things about Fred but the list is too long to list them all.
God bless you all in this time of sorrow.
Regards,
Lupe

I'm very saddened to hear of Fred's passing. He was a leader in every respect and knew the aircraft's electronic components cold. He took that knowledge and experience to the then-RTD classroom, where he molded future officers and ATs with his skills. It was a pleasure working with Fred at VQ-4, NAS Patuxent River MD. Rest in Peace, Fred, others have your watch now.
