Dr. Kift provided me with one of my funniest dental experiences when he had to leave the office during a procedure. His wife had called and one of the girls had tried to flush a doll down a toilet. He had to run home, put on a plumber hat and stop the water that was running all over!

Dear Kift Family,
My family has fond memories of our trips to Dr. Kift's dental office on Broad Street.
I live in Pittsburgh now, but my Mom kept me updated when she would see Dr. Kift in the community and chat with him.
I am sorry to learn of his passing. He was a good man.
I would have enjoyed seeing him again. My son is now a Pitt Dental Student. We would have a lot to talk about.
May your memories be a comfort to you during this most difficult time.

Thank you Kim. He would have been overjoyed to learn about your son's attending PITT Dental School. We wish him all the best.

Dr. Kift was our family dentist and friend. I remember when I worked for Esther Mosteller in the salon right below his office and the song, "Knock 3 Times" (on the ceiling if you love me, twice on the pipes, if the answer is no), was popular. He knew I was scared to death of dentists, so to tease me, he'd knock three times on the pipes to see if he could get me to respond in like manner. I'd always knock back twice, and then when we'd laugh about it. He was a gem. R.I.P. my friend. ❤

Dr. Kift was our family dentist and I made many trips to his upstairs office on Broad St. So many of Montoursville's "finest" of my time growing up have passed away or are quickly nearing the end of their lives. Although it is nature's order of life, it is still sad to see such good individuals die. My condolences to his family. Dr. Kift was good man who made significant contributions to his community. I always found him to be a caring individual with the highest degree of character and ethics.
