Patricia R. Reed

Patricia R. Reed, 87, of Hughesville, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.

Born September 19, 1932 in Lightstreet, she was a daughter of the late H. Clifton and Winifred E. (Miller) Young.

Patty was a 1950 graduate of Scott Twp. High School, Espy. She was a homemaker and spent her early years raising and caring for her family.

Patty loved the Lord, and spent many hours studying her Bible and praying for the needs of others. She was especially proud of her grandsons.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Richards (husband, Dennis) and Diane Wilde (husband, Richard), all of Hughesville; two grandchildren, Brian Richards (wife, Bethany) and Scott Richards; and a special niece, Holly Aunkst.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Young and a sister, Marjorie Aunkst.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hughesville.
