Leonard J. Ciraulo, 87, of Muncy, died Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the Reading Hospital Tower Health.
Born November 20, 1932 in Muncy, he was a son of the late Charles A. and Mary (Tuturica) Ciraulo.
Leonard was a graduate of Muncy High School. He served honorably in the U. S. Army during the Korean War where he received three medals. Leonard worked as a scheduler at the former Sprout-Waldron, now Andritz, for many years.
He was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Muncy.
Leonard loved hunting, fishing and watching western movies. He also enjoyed meeting his friends at Dunkin Donuts.
Surviving are a son, David Ciraulo and his wife, Sandra, of Falmouth, ME; a daughter, Sharon Majesky and her husband, Thomas Wells, of Reading; and six grandchildren, Joseph Majesky, Kathryn Majesky, Luciano Ciraulo, Nicolas Ciraulo, Rocco Ciraulo and Giovanni Ciraulo.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Stephen Ciraulo and a brother, Charles A. Ciraulo, Jr.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of the Resurrection, 75 Musser Lane, Muncy, where A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. with his pastor, the Rev. Glenn McCreary, officiating.
Burial with full military honors will follow in the Muncy Cemetery.
