Kathryn Werner Obituary

Kathryn C. Werner, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, 96, of Muncy, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Wolf Run Village, Hughesville.

Born June 21, 1927 in East Rockhill Township, she was a daughter of the late Ira E. and Florence May (Kantner) Cullen. On October 29, 1950 she married David R. Werner, who preceded her in death September 21, 2020. Together they celebrated nearly seventy years of marriage.

Kathryn was a 1946 graduate of Sell-Perk High School, Sellersville. She worked at AEL Industries, Lansdale, from 1966 to 1991.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, David Todd and Cathleen Werner, of Marengo, Ill.; a daughter and son-in-law, Kitty and Ken Blessing, of Muncy; four grandchildren, Brian Blessing and wife Laura, Nicole Blessing and husband, Kevin Rupp, Dan Werner and Jeff Werner; two great-grandsons, Ryker and Greyson Rupp; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Rella Nase.

Services and burial will be held privately in the St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church Cemetery, Montgomery.
