Jordan Woltz Obituary

Jordan M. Woltz, 36, of Montgomery, died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 23, 2020 in Montgomery.

Born May 27, 1983 in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Lawrence D. Woltz and Karen Yoxheimer-Warner, who survives.  He was married to the former Stephanie Smith, who also survives.

Jordan graduated with honors in 2001 from Williamsport Area High School.  He worked in the Oil and Gas industry as a Supervisor for several years at the former Trican, now Keane Group, Mill Hall, and most recently at Halliburton, Montgomery.

Jordan was a kind and loving individual with the biggest heart, always willing to give the shirt off his back.  He enjoyed hiking, shooting, motorcycling, and jet skiing at his family’s river lot in Montgomery.   He also loved to set off fireworks and explosives.  Most important was spending time with his children and family.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are three children, Hayley Woltz, of Williamsport, and Kailyn and Cameron Woltz, both of Montgomery; two sisters and one brother, Deborah Hankey and her husband, Rick, of New Oxford, Daniel Woltz, of Williamsport, and Jillian Woltz, of South Williamsport; his stepfather, Carl Warner, of Lindley, NY; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mark and Connie Entz, of Montgomery; his aunt, Kathleen Yoxheimer, of Williamsport, his uncle, Thomas Yoxheimer and his wife, Susan, of Pittsburg; a very special cousin, Khiara Barone, of Williamsport; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers that will deeply miss him.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and a cousin, John Anthony Barone Jr.

Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport.

A Celebration of Life service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

If desired, memorial contributions in Jordan’s memory may be made to the Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
