Darla Rose Marie Zimmers

Darla Rose Marie Zimmers, 70, of Muncy, died Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.

Born July 1, 1950 in Altoona, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Pauline (Bradley) Binduga . On August 17, 1979 she married Barron Zimmers, who survives. Together they celebrated 41 years of marriage.

Darla was a graduate of the Penn Cambria High School. She worked as a secretary for Lori Waterproofing, Greensburg.

Darla was an active member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Muncy, where she served as past president of the Ladies Group.

Darla loved raising her family and watching her grandchildren grow. She also enjoyed interior decorating and her dogs.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Annette Hess and her husband Bob, of Montgomery and Elizabeth Zimmers, of Warriors Mark; one son, Erik Zimmers and his wife Jackie, of Cranberry Twp.; one sister, Donna Fultz, of Texas; one son-in-law, Mike Moore, of Florida; one sister-in-law, Fran Binduga, of Altoona; eight grandchildren, Mason, Ava, Teshia and her fiancé Shane Schooley, Cameron, Ben, Lily, Christopher and Grayson; two great-grandchildren, Marli and Alaina (due in November); and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother Jack Binduga; one infant sister, Colleen Binduga; one daughter, Cynthia Ann Moore; and one brother-in-law, William Fultz.

Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 201 S. Main St. Muncy, where a funeral will be held at 2 p.m. with her pastor, the Rev. Chris Raiford, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Muncy Cemetery.
