Cathy J. (Bomboy) Hill

Cathy J. (Bomboy) Hill, 65, of Montgomery, died Thursday, July 23, 2020 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.

Born February 26, 1955 in Muncy, she was a daughter of Joan G. (Bomboy) Reese, who survives. On July 8, 1974, she married Lewis Hill, who survives. Together they celebrated 46 years of marriage.

Cathy attended Hughesville High School. She worked at various local retailers, retiring from Wal-Mart, Montoursville.

With the gift of creativity, Cathy excelled at crocheting, cross stitch, embroidering and sewing. She enjoyed playing computer games, especially solitaire and canasta. Most of all, Cathy loved spending time with her family and friends and her cats and dogs.

Surviving in addition to her mother, of Wilkes-Barre and husband are a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Bobby Fox, of North Carolina; two brothers, Wayne Reese, of Williamsport and Russell Reese, of Minnesota; a sister, Robin Conway, of Plaines; and three grandchildren, Carl, Emily and Rachel.

She was predeceased by her grandparents whom raised her, James and Josephine Bomboy; and a sister, Alta Mae Landis.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.

The family suggests contributions in Cathy’s name be made to Grenoble Funeral Home, to help defray funeral costs.
