Valerie A. Huff

Valerie A. Huff, 63, of Watsontown, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born February 25, 1962 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Sonia (Smith) Long and McClellan Long, who survives. On October 27, 2012 she married Devlon Huff, who survives.

Valerie was a 1980 graduate of Warrior Run High school and worked earlier in life in the trucking industry. She later attended the Mount Nittany Institute of Natural Health and more recently was working as a massage therapist.

Valerie enjoyed crocheting, making homemade soaps and lotions, and listening to music.

Surviving in addition to her father, stepmother, Elaine, and husband are one son, Dale Bonnell and his wife, Cicilia; four stepdaughters, Karyn, Kelly, Kasey and Kim; two stepsons, Christopher and Patrick Huff; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by one daughter, Bethanie Bonnell; one sister, Pamela Jo Hauck; and one brother, John Long.

The family is planning a graveside service on Wednesday, September 24 at 1 p.m. in the Watsontown Cemetery.
