Thomas J. Marshall, 73, of Turbotville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the Gatehouse.

Born on April 2, 1952, Tom was the son of the late William J. Marshall and Martha O. (Bower) Parks.

Tom was a 1970 graduate of Warrior Run High School. He dedicated much of his life to his work and community. He was a 43-year member of the IBEW and worked throughout his career at Chef Boyardee’s, Pennsylvania House Furniture, and Furmano Foods, from which he retired in 2013. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Tom served his community faithfully as a Lewis Township Supervisor for six years.

He attended Watsontown Alliance Church.

On July 18, 1998, he married the former Barbara Reigle, and together they shared 27 wonderful years of marriage.

Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Barb; his children, Tony Marshall (Amy), of Harrisburg, Jodi Woods (Doug), of Elyria, OH, Michelle Hughes, of Richfield, Stephanie Bunty (Nate), of Columbia, PA and Jason Kyle, of Salisbury, MD; as well as six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his siblings, William Marshall (Bonnie), of Montgomery, Shirley Grady, of Watsontown, Sara Shade, of Lock Haven and Pam Wertz, of Watsontown; along with cherished nieces and nephews.

Tom was known for his strong work ethic, dedication to his family, and love for music—especially as an avid Beatles fan. Tom had a deep affection for cats and was well known for the love and care he showed to his feline companions. He will be remembered for his steady presence, commitment to those he loved, and the many lives he touched throughout his years.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
