Theresa Ann Konkle

Theresa Ann Konkle, 86, of South Williamsport, died Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.

Born February 28, 1938 in South Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Paul J. and Alice (Walter) Bower.  On March 17, 1993 she married James L. Konkle, who survives.  Together they celebrated 31 years of marriage.

Theresa was a graduate of South Williamsport High School and worked as a purchasing agent at Divine Providence Hospital.

She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Williamsport.

In earlier years, Theresa enjoyed crosswords and ceramics.  She also loved going to the movies and taking bus trips, especially when visiting a casino.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Carla Sechrist and Kip Lawson, both of Montoursville, and Troy Lawson, formerly of Williamsport; one brother, Charles Bower, of Williamsport; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three siblings and their spouses, Margaret “Sis” and Logan Richmond, Eleanor “Honey” and Frank Stetts, and Paul and Beverly Bower; and one sister-in-law, Shirley Bower.

Services and burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Montoursville, will be held at a later date.
