Steven Scott Boyd

Steven S. Boyd, 61, of Danville, died Sunday, July 2, 2017 at his home due to natural causes.
Born September 4, 1955 in Jamestown, NY, he was a son of the late David L. and Catherine (Hammond) Boyd.
He was a graduate of Mecklenburg High School and attended East Carolina University, both in North Carolina. Steven worked as an editor and writer with the Highland Journal in Boone, North Carolina.
A naturalist and artist, he loved doing pen and ink drawings, especially of nature and landscapes.
Surviving are a brother, Michael Boyd, of IL; and two sisters, Deborah Boyd Arrowood, of SC and Emilie Hamilton, of MA.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg.
The family is being assisted by the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg.
