Scott W. Shuck, 63, of Montgomery passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025 at the Gatehouse.

Born June 21, 1961 in New Columbia, he was a son of the late Rosalie (Bennett) Rodgers and Barry W. Shuck, who survives. On May 30, 1987, he married the former Lori A. Yocum. Together they celebrated 38 years of marriage.

Scott was a 1979 graduate of Montgomery High School. He worked at the former Grumman, now Kidron as a fork lift operator for over 37 years, retiring in 2024.

An avid sports fan, he loved watching Penn State and Notre Dame football and the New York Yankees. Scott also enjoyed playing sports. Earlier in life, he was fond of softball, hunting and fishing. Most recently Scott enjoyed attending sporting events played by his nieces and nephews, gambling at casinos, fantasy football and golfing with his golf brothers at the White Deer Golf Course, where he was a member.

Scott was a SAL member of the Bower-Decker American Legion Post 251, Montgomery and a past member of the Montgomery Area Volunteer Fire Company.

Surviving in addition to his wife and father are a stepmother, Jackie Shuck, of Watsontown; step father, Ronald Rodgers, of Montgomery; four siblings, Steven (Donna) Shuck, of S. Williamsport, Sandra Roman, of Williamsport, Candy (Matthew) Shuman, of Liverpool and Kevin (Lanetta) Rodgers, of Montgomery; 16 nieces and nephews; and a large number of great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by a nephew, Blake McCoy and a great nephew, Hunter Nazzaro.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at the Clinton Township Fire Hall, Rt. 54, Montgomery.

Private burial will be held at Green Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
