Robert T. “Bob” Stamm, Sr., 82, a longtime resident of Milton, died Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Greenwood Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Lewistown.
He was born October 22, 1943 in Montgomery, a son of the late Lester and Elizabeth (Middleton) Stamm.
Bob was a 1961 graduate of Warrior Run High School. After high school, he served in the United States Marines. Following his time in the service Bob worked for the former ACF, Milton for a short time and then ConAgra, Milton until retirement.
Earlier in life, he was a member of St. Paul’s UCC, West Milton.
Bob was very active, enjoying walking, running, bicycling, swimming and hunting. He completed two triathlons and numerous 5ks.
He was a member of a bowling league at Imperial Lanes, Milton.
Surviving are two children, Tammy Long and her husband, Thomas, of Dillsburg and Robert Stamm and his significant other, Michele Ryan, of Milton; one brother, Jerry Stamm, of OR; one sister, Mary Snyder, of Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren, Taylor, Thomas and Trenton Long, of Dillsburg and his ex-wife, Shirley Michael, of Watsontown.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, George, Carl and Michael Stamm.
Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 22 at Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main Street, Watsontown, where the Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m.
Burial with full military honors will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
