Pauline E. “Polly” Knouse Treese, 93, of New Columbia, died Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born August 19, 1931 in Elimsport, she was a daughter of the late George and Rosellen (Robinson) King.

Polly worked for the former Montgomery Mills until its closing. She then worked in the kitchen at Bonanza, New Columbia until she retired.

She was excellent at sewing, making clothing for her children and enjoyed making jigsaw puzzles in her free time. Polly loved animals, especially her dogs.

Surviving are her children, Pam Rosado and her husband, Paco, of New Columbia, Willam Knouse, of Montgomery and Tina Tickle and her husband, Larry, of Muncy; two grandchildren, Chris Croll and Cassie Tickle; five great-grandchildren, Abrienne Croll, Lauren Schlopy, Gabriella, Olivia and Sophie Tickle and one great-great-granddaughter, Layklee Croll.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Steven Knouse and nine siblings.

Friends will be received from 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Monday, July 7 at Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main St. Watsontown where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m.
