Pasquale Verrastro

Aug 4, 1950 — Jun 13, 2026

Pasquale “Pat” T. Verrastro, 75, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Born August 4, 1950, in Moscow, PA, he was a son of the late James and Grace (Gruttadauria) Verrastro. In November of 1985, he married the former Sarah Bubb, who survives.

Pat was a graduate of South Williamsport High School and PA Military College before serving honorably in the United States Army. He later earned an accounting degree from Lycoming College, Williamsport. Pat was a founding member of Gearhart, Wienecke and Verrastro in Williamsport where he dedicated much of his professional life as a CPA.

Pat loved playing with his granddaughter, Zoe, at the park, bringing her Old McDonald’s big breakfast after sleepovers, and walking Candy Cane Lane with her at Christmastime. With his daughter, he enjoyed many meals at the Villa and marathons of Murder, She Wrote. Pat was also an avid Yankees fan and loved to lounge in the sun reading a book.

His sense of humor and quick wit will never be forgotten. Pat was a wonderful husband and father (who never made his daughter ride the bus to school). His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, Pat is survived by a daughter, Jennie Verrastro and her husband, Tyler Martz, of Fayettville, PA; the joy of his life, a granddaughter, Zoe Martz; a sister Jennie and sister-in-law Diane of CA; 4 nieces and nephews (Jimmy, Gina, Kristofer, Eva) and numerous extended family in PA.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Gaetano Verrastro.

Celebration services are being planned and will be announced at a later date.

Contributions in Pat’s memory may be made to Grenoble Funeral Home to help defray expenses. Donations may be mailed to 121 S. Main St. Muncy, PA 17756 or made here on Pat's obituary page.
