MaryLew Geiswite, 81, formerly of Lewisburg, died Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born December 12, 1943, in Monroe Twp., she was a daughter of the late Elmer W. and Phyllis M. (Beinlich) Reichley. On March 26, 1961 she married William L. “Bill” Geiswite, Sr., who preceded her in death April 18, 1995. Together they celebrated 34 years of marriage.
MaryLew attended Selinsgrove High School.
She loved flowers and caring for her plants. MaryLew enjoyed word searches, singing and shopping at thrift shops.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, William, Jr. and Marsha Geiswite, of New Berlin; three daughters, Sherry Showers, of Watsontown, Teresa Geiswite, of South Carolina and Brenda Wilson, of Selinsgrove; two brothers, John and Russell Reichley, both of Watsontown; three sisters, Emma Buck and Sharon Woolsey, both of Winfield and Linda Brattain, of Indiana; eight grandchildren, including Katrina Starr Wells, who was like a daughter and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Robin Dauberman, sister, Sandra Sauers, granddaughter, Hope Scholl, two grandsons, Adam Scholl and Benjamin Wilson.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, November 14 at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg, where a Funeral service will be held at 11 with Pastor Alan Tucker, officiating.
Burial will follow in Lewisburg Cemetery.
