Mary A. Wagner, 92, of Mifflintown, formerly of Lewisburg, died on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born July 12, 1927, she was the last child of the late Edward W. and Susan C. (Smith) Keister. On December 25, 1941, she married Robert S. Wagner, who preceded her in death September 1, 1991. Together they celebrated 49 years of marriage.
Mary worked at the former Pennsylvania House, Lewisburg.
Mary loved to listen to country and blue grass music. In her spare time, she enjoyed embroidery and reading, especially books about the Amish.
She attended the First Baptist Church, Mifflintown.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Robert E. and Joy Wagner, of Mifflintown; five daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy L. and Donald Brubaker, of Shermans Dale, Marion J. and Jay Murray, of S.C. and Carol S. and Donald Loss, of N.C., Joan M. and Paul Hauck, of Danville, Joyce A. Vanemon-Forrest and Chester Forrest III, of New Berlin; 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, husband and siblings, she was predeceased by two sons, Harold and Randy Wagner, three grandchildren, Carolyn & Barry Brubaker and Steven Ulrich and one great-granddaughter, Cathyrnne Wagner.
Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, S. Second and St. Lewis streets, Lewisburg, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ron Shupe, officiating
Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church, 23964 Rt. 35 North, Mifflintown, PA 17059.
