Mary Ellen Moser

Mary E. Moser, 90, of Williamsport, died Saturday, July 4, 2026 at Edenbrook North.

Born August 27, 1935 in Watsontown, she was a daughter of the late Louis M. and Bertha (Mehringer) Fromme.

Mary attended Watsontown schools. She was employed at a local shoe factory for a number of years before moving to Georgia. Over the next 50 years Mary worked in retail at the Piggly Wiggly, at a care home for the elderly and volunteered at an abused woman's shelter, in Georgia and after returning to Pennsylvania.

She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Williamsport.

Mary loved to read books. Earlier in life, she was fond of crocheting, sewing and cooking. Mary also enjoyed traveling.

Surviving are a sister, Carol Sanctuary, of Rome, GA; friend and soulmate, Thomas Cook, of Delanco, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two siblings, Ken and Donna.

As per Mary's wishes there will be no services.
