Mark D. Ritter

Mark D. Ritter, 64, of Watsontown, died Friday, December12, 2025, at UPMC, Williamsport.

Born April 17, 1961, in Muncy, He was the son ofthe late Herbert and Martha (Mulligan) Ritter. On June 27, 2017, he married the former Beverly Higgins, who survives.

Mark was a 1979 graduate of Muncy high school. He worked various jobs through the years and was most recently retired.

Mark was a member of the Beacon United Methodist Church, Hughesville.

He was a former firefighter in Mount Wolf and Manchester. Mark volunteered at the Son Light House, Muncy.

Most importantly, Mark loved to spend time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Mark Ritter Jr, of Millville, Jason Ritter, of Milton and Scott Ritter, of Hughesville; seven stepchildren, Matt Orner (Rosie), of Montoursville, Josh Orner (Kevin Bull), of Hughesville, Amanda Budman (Joel), of Hughesville, Christopher Orner (Whitney), of Jacksonville, NC, Thomas Orner (Chasety), of Williamsport, Eric Orner, of Huntingdon, and Kelly Sholder (Fred), of Williamsport, one sister, Michelle Mack, of Florida, 11 grandchildren, 1 niece and 5 nephews.

In addition to hisparents, he was predeceased by a sister, Debra Swisher.

In keeping with Mark’s wishes, there will be no service.
