Louis R. Erhardt III, 70, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, September 5, 2020 in the emergency room at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born April 29, 1950 in Hoboken, NJ, a son of the late Louis R. and Margaret (McCloskey) Erhardt. On September 18, 1976 he married the former Theresa Bandoni, who survives. Together they celebrated 43 years of marriage.
Louis worked as a manager at NGC Industries, New Columbia for 25 years before retiring.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Lewisburg.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Louis Erhardt and James and Amanda Erhardt; two daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Rick Lindenmuth and Susanne and Andrew Welte; one sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Gary Poduska: two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Diane Erhardt and Paul and Patti Erhardt; and eight grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 106 S. Second St., Lewisburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at the Sacred Heart Church, 814 St Louis St., Lewisburg, with his pastor, Fr. Mark Wilke, officiating. For everyone’s safety we ask that all attendees adhere to the social distancing guidelines and wear a mask.
Burial will follow in Lewisburg Cemetery.
