Linda K. Jamison, 75 of Montgomery, died on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at her residence.
Born June 9, 1948 in Lewisburg, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Esther Mae (Wertz) Troxell. On October 23, 1965 she married Charles Daniel Jamison, who preceded her in death on March 30, 1989. Together they celebrated 23 years of marriage. Linda later married Rodney Kerstetter, who survives, on June 20, 2007. Together they celebrated nearly 17 years of marriage.
Linda attended Montgomery Schools. She worked for West Pharmaceutical Services, Williamsport, for 43 years before retiring in 2010.
She loved getting her hair done every week and rarely missed an appointment.
Linda enjoyed visiting her son and his family at their camper and going for ice cream nearly every night with her husband.
Most importantly, she cherished her time spent taking care of her family.
Surviving are one son Daniel S. Jamison and his wife, Sue, of Montgomery; two stepchildren, Rodney J. Kerstetter and his wife, Angela, of Riverside and Dawn K, Kerstetter, of New York; two brothers, James Troxell, Jr. and Rick Troxell and his wife, Denise, all of Montgomery; one sister, Mary Hill and her husband, Robert, of Allenwood; one grandson, Daniel K. Jamison, of Muncy; 3 step grandchildren, Dustin R. Stackhouse, of Mill Hall, Brandon Kerstetter, of Milton and Samantha Beck, of NY.
In addition to her parents and first husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Judy Fisher and step grandson, Kirk Andrew Stackhouse.
Friends will be received Friday, March 22 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main St. Watsontown, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John E. Lee, retired United Methodist Minister, officiating.
