Kathryn June Laird, 91, of 3 N. Aspen Dr. and formerly of 31 S. Front St., Lewisburg, passed away on Friday, December 4 at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.
She was born June 20, 1924 in Lewisburg, the only child of the late Dayton and Myrtle (Sassaman) Reichley. On September 12, 1943, she married George W. Laird, who preceded her in death on February 28, 2009.
Surviving are one son, Dr. Roger Laird and his wife, Emily Gillenwater-Laird, of Madisonville, KY; two daughters, Kay Kohler and her husband, John, of Chambersburg, and Anne Beyer and her husband, Mark, of Mechanicsburg; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and three sisters-in-law.
In keeping with Kathryn's wishes, there will be no services.
The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 106 S. Second St., Lewisburg.
