John R. Seely

John R. Seely, 60, of Watsontown, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at home with his wife by his side.

Born July 26, 1964, in Bellefonte, he was a son of the late Norman and Hester (Ferdon) Seely. On June 3, 2006, he married his loving wife, the former Deniece Koonsman, who survives.

John graduated from Lewisburg High School and earned an associate degree from WACC, now Penn College, Williamsport. He served honorably in the United States Navy.

John worked installing windows for Reliable Glass, Elysburg.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and racing 4 wheelers and sleds. John was an avid hunter, fisher, and most importantly cherished time spent with family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife are on daughter, Irene Scott, of NC; one stepdaughter, Shelley (Matt) Kerstetter, of Liverpool; one stepson, Correy M. (Shelby) Brosius, of MD; and two grandchildren, Madison (JD) Stevenson, of NC, and Blaze Jordan, of Lewistown.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Steven Seely.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
