John T. Ladd

John T. Ladd, 67, of Watsontown, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

Born on February 26, 1959, in Alexandria, Virginia, he was the son of the late Dennie E. Ladd and Nancy A. (McIntyre) Ladd.

John was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, where he was a member of the wrestling and soccer teams. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Scotland during his military service. After serving in the Marines, John worked for Boeing, where he contributed to the construction of helicopters throughout his career.

An avid outdoorsman, John found great joy in hunting, fishing, and gardening. He also loved cooking and enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends. He will be remembered for his unforgettable storytelling, his kind heart, the lifelong friendships he built, and the countless memories he created with those who knew and loved him.

John is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Shane and Kendra Ladd of Hawthorne, New Jersey, and Sean and Erin Ladd of Chicago, Illinois; his three brothers, Dennie Ladd, Barry Michael Ladd, and Brian (Malia) Ladd; his uncle, Richard Ladd; his close friends, Michael and Tobie Jackson and Bill Messenger & his longtime companion Linda Arrison.

Private interment will be held at Uniontown Cemetery in Allenwood.
