Jane H. Reed Bergerstock

Jane H. Reed Bergerstock, 86, formerly of Montgomery and most recently of Williamsport, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025 at UPMC, Williamsport. 

Born on June 26, 1939 in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late William and Hilda (Phillips) Hall. She married her first husband, Arnold Reed, who predeceased her in September of 2005, and her second husband, Dr. Donald Bergerstock, who predeceased her in August of 2021. 

Jane was a graduate of Montgomery High School. She spent most of her life raising her family, while doing clerical work for several healthcare organizations. 

Jane was a member of Clinton Baptist Church, Montgomery.

Surviving are four children, Mark Reed, Judith Reed, Timothy (Kandace) Bergerstock and David (MaryBeth) Bergerstock; one sister, Shirley (Mike) Harman; seven grandchildren, Joseph, Martha, Jonathan, Katelyn, Marc, Brett and Kara; and one great-grandchild, Carson.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by one daughter-in-law, Joann Reed, and two grandchildren, Matthew and Michael.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8 at Clinton Baptist Church, 60 Warren St. Montgomery, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Jacobs, officiating.

A private burial will follow in Clinton Baptist Cemetery, Montgomery.
