Harold E. Beaver, 83, of Watsontown, died Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born February 1, 1943, in Lewisburg, he was a son of the late Foster and Nora Beaver. On May 19, 1967 he married the former Judy Sampsell, who survives. Together they celebrated 58 years of marriage.

Harold was a 1961 graduate of Lewisburg High School. Following high school, he served honorably in the United States Navy. Harold worked as a welder for the former ACF, Milton for 34 years before retiring.

He was a lifetime member of the ACF Cabin.

Harold loved going to antique car shows with his 1934 truck. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children, Cheryl Pawlak and her husband, John, of New Columbia and Paul Beaver, of Hughesville; sister, Mary Aikey, of Watsontown; two grandchildren, Alicia Stidfole and Kaitlyn Beaver and four great-grandchildren, Piper Stidfole, Charlie Sutton and McKenna and Maverick Goodling.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Carl Beaver, sister, Elsie Jenkins and grandson, Justin Clayton.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, March 13 at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg, where a Funeral service will be held at 11.

Burial with full military honors will follow in Lewisburg Cemetery.
