Frances Burley

Frances E. Burley, 91, of Muncy, died peacefully Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born July 10, 1935 in Turbotville, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Evelyn (Deeter) Fuller.

Frances worked at several area manufacturing plants and spent years serving as a bartender and waitress locally.

She was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary 3428, Muncy.

Frances had an affinity for crocheting and watching game shows and TV land. She was fond of cooking and feeding her family. Frances enjoyed playing cards and BINGO. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are a son, Danny Burley and his significant other, Lori DeWald, of Hughesville; a daughter, Carlene Burley, of Muncy; three siblings, Cindy Shreck and her husband, Charlie, of Montgomery, Gene Fuller, of Milton and Lois Arms, and her husband, Joe, of Melrose, FL; two grandchildren, Maelea Burley, of Muncy and Jason Burley and his significant other, Lani McEvoy, of Hughesville; five great-grandchildren, Mckenzy Burley and her significant other, Dakota Rood, of Montgomery, Aaron Crawford, of Muncy, Kearah Crawford, of Muncy, Murray Burley and Mara Burley, both of Hughesville; and two great-great-grandchildren, Emery and Lincoln.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sons, Donald and Dennis Burley; and four siblings, Ed Fuller, Melvin "Sonny" Fuller, George Fuller and Ethna Probst.

A Celebration of Frances's Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Muncy VFW Post 3428, Vet Memorial Dr., Muncy.
