Edward E. Adams, 92, of Muncy, died Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at the Muncy Place.
Born August 14, 1932 in Bloomsburg, he was a son of the late Roy S. and Maude E. (Hall) Adams. On Sep. 18, 1982 he married the former Audrey Kreisher, who preceded him in death Feb. 10, 2011. Together they celebrated 28 years of marriage.
Ed was a graduate of Bradford Area High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Ed drove truck for Woolever Brother’s, Montoursville, and later Branch Motor Express, before working in the construction field, until retiring.
Ed was honored to be a member of the Korean War Vets and participated in the burial honors for fellow veterans. He was a member of the Valley of Bloomsburg American Legion Post 273, the Fort McClure VFW Post 804, Bloomsburg and the Muncy Valley Moose.
Ed enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are five children and their spouses, David (Sharon) Adams, of Muncy, Denny (Dody) Adams, of Pennsdale, Pam (Jerry) Knier, of Muncy, Rita (Troy) Fry, of Montgomery and Donna (John) Ferguson, of Muncy; three step children, Scott, Sharon and Darlene; one sister, Alice Luce, of NY; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous step grand and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and his first wife, the mother of his children, Carol Inez (Dunn) Adams, he was predeceased by his second wife, Audrey; a sister, Nancy Doraski; and a granddaughter, Melanie Powers.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to Noon, Monday, August 4, 2025 at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at noon, with Frank Hartzell, officiating.
Burial with full military honors will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the Korean War Vets of Lycoming County, P. O. Box 3232, Williamsport, PA 17701.
