Dorothy M. Budman,84, a resident of Montgomery, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Muncy Place.
She was born on Friday, March 20,1942, at home near Danville, a daughter of the late Charles and E. Viola (Springer) Wolfe. She and her husband, Russell J. Budman, were married on September 13, 1980. Together they celebrated 37 years of marriage before his death June 18, 2018.
Dorothy was employed over the years at Turbotville Dress Factory, Milton Shoe Factory, Chef-Boyardee and Bryfogle's greenhouse in Washingtonville.
Dorothy loved doing crafts with Russell and she was an amazing cook and baker, especially her favorites; fried chicken, fried potatoes and raisin filled cookies around the holidays. She loved all her pets and family and helped with the raising of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her dog, beloved Bones, she is survived by three daughters, Tina and Eddie Palmeter, of Turbotville, Linda and Marlin Gemberling, of Mifflinburg and Donna and Patrick Deitrick, of Montgomery; one brother Franklin Wolfe, of McEwensville; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Russell she was preceded in death by her four brothers, David Wolfe, John Wolfe, Edward Wolfe and Charles Wolfe and her first husband, David F. Raup.
At Dorothy's request, there will be no services.
Burial for her and Russell will be held in Turbotville Cemetery at the convenience of family.
