Donna L. Fedder

Donna L. Fedder, 93, of Montoursville, died Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Valley View Nursing Center.

Born August 17, 1932 in Muncy Creek Township, she was a daughter of the late Paul Sr. and Lillian (Bigger) Smith. She and her husband, Eugene H. Fedder, celebrated 70 years of marriage before his death Dec. 23, 2020.

Donna was a graduate of the Williamsport High School. After graduation she worked at Cary-McFalls for a short time with her mother. In her younger years, Donna was an Avon Representative. She then worked as a receptionist for many years at the former Dr. Wertz Hess, Williamsport, from where she retired.

Donna was a member of Friends Church, Hughesville.

She loved animals, especially horses. While helping a woman with therapy riding, she bonded with two horses and eventually bought those horses and raised them with her husband on their farmette.

Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Carl Smith, of Duboistown; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Thomas and a brother, Paul “Donald” Smith, Jr.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2026 in the Muncy Cemetery, 204 E. Penn St., Muncy, with Rev. Dan Cale, officiating.
