Donald R. “Tink” Gray, 77, of Montgomery, died Sunday, October 15, 2023 at UPMC Susquehanna Hospital, Williamsport.
He was born April 2, 1946 in Anthony Township, a son of the late Roland and Esther (Strouse) Gray. On June 26, 1971 married the former Rhonda Hall. Together they celebrated 52 years of marriage.
Donald graduated from Muncy High School and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked for Springs Window Fashions, Montgomery, where he retired, and most recently worked part time at Weis Markets.
Donald was a member of the Bower Decker Post 251 American Legion, Montgomery.
He enjoyed tinkering with things and was an avid fisherman. He loved his two K-9 companions Sam and Andy.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Lori Leskiw and husband, Andrew, of Michigan, Niccole Raup and husband, Ronald, of Montgomery, and Misty Gray and fiancé, Chris Bartlow, of Montgomery; one son, Donald Gray, Jr. of Watsontown; one brother, Frank Gray and wife, Irene, of Muncy; three sisters, Sara Charles and husband, Wayne, of Montgomery, Alice Presser and husband, Mark, of Texas, and Debra Belleman, of Muncy; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by eight siblings.
The family is planning a celebration of life to be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 22 at the New Mountain Tavern, Montgomery.
The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
