Donald P. Spatzer, 72, of Muncy, died Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at his home with family by his side.

Born June 24, 1953, in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Donald and Eleanor (Carter) Spatzer.

Donald graduated from Pottsville Nativity high school and later earned an associate degree in carpentry from the former Williamsport Area Community College, now Pennsylvania College of Technology. He was self-employed for many years, owning his business, Spatzer Construction.

Donald was an avid outdoors man and enjoyed hunting and fly fishing.

Surviving are seven children, Jeremy (Gena) Brown, of Millville, Jesse (Ashley Deitrick) Spatzer, of Muncy, Jason (Amanda) Brown, of Pittsburgh, Adrian (Jenna Reid) Spatzer, of Atlanta, GA, Sarah (Shawn Tutton) Spatzer, of Guyton, GA, Jenna (Elijah) McGinnis, of Detroit, MI, and Hannah (Travis) Rocuskie, of Muncy Valley; three sisters, Susan Spatzer and Sandra Eckhoff, both of Philadelphia, and Danna (Jim) Leininger, of Pine Grove; and 16 grandchildren, Gavin, Sarah, Abigail, Rory, Tyler, Wren, Robinson, Larkin, Maya, Emma, Sarah, Olivia, Ella-May, AJ, Eden and Arwen.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers-in-law, Marty Eckhoff and Norris Preston.

A Celebration of Donald’s life will be held on Monday, May 25 at Kiess Park, Muncy, starting at 3 p.m.
