Donald "Shane" Cartwright

Donald “Shane” Cartwright, 62, of Dewart, died Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Edenbrook North, Williamsport.

Born Sept. 9, 1962 in Hobbs, NM, he was a son of the late Josh and Shirley (Hammond) Cartwright.

After graduating from Hobbs High School, Shane attended college courses before pursuing his career in the oil industry.

Shane was a member of Masonic Lodge #401, Watsontown.

Surviving are his significant other, Heidi Seabourn, of Dewart; a daughter Karin Contraris and husband, Jose, of OK; one brother, Randy Cartwright and wife, Coco, of TX; one sister, Shanda Woodruff, of OK; and two grandchildren, Vicki Ray and Dominic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his aunt “Sis” and aunt Bell.

In keeping with Shane’s wishes, there will be no service.
