Delores “Dodie” I. Bower, 90, of Watsontown, died Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
Born June 17, 1931, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Miriam (Mitcheltree) Myers.
Dodie worked for the former Marathon Carey-McFall Company, Montoursville. Later she worked for Bonanza, New Columbia and other restaurants in the area.
She was a member of the Muffley-Huff Post #8206, V.F.W., Turbotville.
Dodie enjoyed coloring, crocheting and working plastic canvas projects. She loved the outdoors and talking to people she met.
Surviving is one sister, Zara Smith, of Milton; one brother and sister-in-law, Dorland and Dorothy Myers, of Clarion; many nieces and nephews, and her close friend Betty DeLaCruz.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son in infancy; two brothers, Charles and Merton Myers; and one brother-in-law, Daniel Smith.
Private burial will be held in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
The family is being assisted by Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main St. Watsontown.
