Deborah J. Morelli

Deborah J. Morelli, 73, of Lewisburg, PA, died Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born June 3, 1952 in Ridgway, PA, she was a daughter of Cecilia (Garrity) Miller, of Ridgway, and the late Bernard Miller. In September of 1987, she married Duane Morelli and together celebrated 38 years of marriage.

Debbie was a 1970 graduate of Ridgway Area High School. She went on to work as a computer operator and office assistant, during which time she met Duane. She transitioned into motherhood and homemaking after the birth of their child, Danielle. Though Lewisburg was home for Deb and Duane for more than two decades as they raised their daughter, she spoke fondly of their time living in St. Albans, VT, where they enjoyed the beauty of the landscape, delicious New England cuisine, and memorable friends.

Debbie’s primary interest was antiquing, as displayed by the varied, unique finds that adorned their home. She was often seen at antique stores and auctions, with an ever-expanding knowledge of her hobby that rivaled that of fellow antique enthusiasts. Her creativity was on full display when decorating the home for various holidays, or developing plans for Fiddler’s Tract Country Inn, which she owned and managed for several years.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are her daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Matthew Bastian, of Lafayette, IN, and a niece, Brittany Bardwell, of Oakland, CA.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a sister, Susan Miller.

The family is planning a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
