Debbie L. Akers, 75, of Muncy, died Sunday, February1, 2026, at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.
Born March 9, 1950, in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late Jake T. Akers Jr. and Ruth “Diane” (Eaker) Akers, who survives.
Debbie was a 1968 graduate of Muncy High School. She retired after many years working for the former Muncy Bank, now Journey Bank.
Debbie attended Muncy Presbyterian Church.
She was an avid New York Yankees fan, loved playing Bingo and was a faithful reader. Debbie also cared deeply for her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, always supporting them and attending their events when she could. She was kindhearted and a very giving person.
Surviving in addition to her mother are one brother, Stephen Akers and his wife, Kathryn, of Muncy; two sisters, Teresa Hostelley, of Watsontown, and Lori Ault, of Muncy; seven nieces and nephews, Jim Rodarmel (Julie), Beth Hostelley, Matthew Akers (Brittany), Michael Akers (Lindsey), Amye Akers, Kiersten Ault (Shawn) and Courtney Ault; and 14 great nieces and great nephews, Gage, Brennan, Avelyn, Jayce, Ally, Lincoln, Evan, Cassidy, Quinn, Aurora, Luna, Rylan, Grayson and Jamison.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
