David R. Werner, 91, of Williamsport, died Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.
Born December 22, 1928 in Hilltown Township, a son of the late Irvin K. and Florence (Landis) Werner. On October 29, 1950, he married the former Kathryn Cullen, who survives. Together they celebrated nearly seventy years of marriage.
David was a graduate of Sell-Perk High School, Sellersville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. David attended Drexel University. He worked as a supervisor for the American Olean Tile Company, Lansdale, for 25 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son and daughter-in-law, David Todd and Cathleen Werner, of Marengo, Ill.; a daughter & son-in-law, Kitty and Ken Blessing, of Muncy; four grandchildren, Brian Blessing, Nicole Blessing & husband, Kevin Rupp, Dan Werner and Jeff Werner; one great-grandson, Ryker Rupp; and many nieces and nephews.
Services and burial were held in the St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church Cemetery, Montgomery.
