Dale Theodore Miller

Dale T. Miller, 88, of Watsontown, formerly of New Columbia, died Thursday, July 30, 2026 at home.

Born July 5, 1938, in Lewisburg, he was a son of the late Norman and Hattie (Snyder) Miller. On May 12, 1956, he married the former Helen V. Day, who survives. Together they celebrated 70 years of marriage.

Dale worked for American Home Foods, Milton, now Hometown Food Company for 45 years and was a member of the Local 38 Union.

In his spare time, Dale loved fishing, especially fly fishing and tying his own flies. He also enjoyed hunting.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Cindy Miller, of Watsontown and Neil and Kim Miller, of Beaver Springs; one brother, Lester Miller, Sr., of Watsontown; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sons, Jeffrey and Steven Miller, six brothers and five sisters.

The family is planning a memorial service to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Crossroads Church of The Nazarene, 71 Nazarene Lane Milton, PA 17847. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 prior to the service.
