Carl B. Kline, 74, a longtime resident of Lewisburg, died on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at his home.
He was born October 24, 1946 a son of the late Paul and Helen (Trosky) Kline.
Carl was a graduate of Lewisburg High School. He worked for 38 years at the former Pennsylvania House Furniture, Lewisburg, until they closed.
Carl was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Lewisburg.
Carl loved spending time outdoors and around others, whether it was a walk to Weis Markets or sitting on a bench socializing with his neighbors. He also enjoyed watching car racing and wrestling.
Surviving are two sisters, Martha Bettendorf and her husband, Gilbert, of Lewisburg, and Victoria Scholl, of Williamsport; one brother, David Kline and his wife, Frances, of Lewisburg; four nephews, Paul and James Bettendorf, Michael Kline and William Scholl; and three nieces, Joan Bettendorf, Elizabeth Raup and Kathryn Johnson.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church, 814 St. Louis Street, Lewisburg with his pastor, Fr. Mark Wilke, officiating. For everyone’s safety we ask that all attendees adhere to the social distancing guidelines and wear a mask.
Burial will follow in Lewisburg Cemetery.
The family will provide the flowers and suggest contribution’s in Carl’s Memory be made to Sacred Heart Church, 814 St. Louis Street Lewisburg, PA 17837.
