Barbara K. Edwards

Barbara K. Edwards, 83, of Lewisburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born May 30, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of the late Michael and Eleanor (Batchler) Karnow. Barbara and her husband of 63 years, Donald G. Edwards, Sr., were married on November 10, 1962, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lewisburg.

Barbara was a Class of '60 graduate of Lewisburg High School, and spent most of her professional life at Farmers National Bank of Maryland, working her way up from bank teller to branch manager.

She leaves behind her husband, Don; two sons and their spouses, Donald Jr. and Brenda Edwards of Winfield, PA, and Jeffrey and Kathleen Edwards of Vero Beach, FL; three grandchildren (Geoffrey, Kathryn, and Laura); and one great-grandson (Riker). Barbara also is survived by her two siblings and their spouses, Michael and Mary Ellen Karnow of Danville, PA, and Susan Karnow and Tim Johnson of Portland, OR.

Services will be held privately at a later date with the family.

The Edwards are being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg.
