Aurora Lynn Hotchkiss

Aurora Lynn Hotchkiss, 4, of S. Williamsport, passed away peacefully, Friday January 16, 2026 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport, with her family by her side.

Born in Danville on July 16, 2021 into the loving arms of her parents, Corey and Murrai (Crooks) Hotchkiss. Her blue eyes were as bright as the sky on that summer day.

As she grew, Aurora faced some developmental difficulties, but those hardships never broke her spirit. She was the happiest little girl, with a heightened sense of humor. Watching Bluey was her favorite activity. Aurora enjoyed the stimulation of music and lights. She loved the feeling of soft textures and was fond of helium balloons.

Aurora had a quiet demeanor, but was good at communicating through facial expressions, using her eyes and eyebrows and with her hands, most commonly with a thumbs up or a certain naughty little finger. To those who knew Aurora, her smile could light up a room, even the slightest little smirk. Hearing Aurora’s laughter brought joy to her family; and hearing her favorite word, Mum-mum, was a blessing.

In addition to her parents, Aurora will be eternally missed by her two brothers, Raiden Hotchkiss, of Mass. and Saxon Hotchkiss, at home; her maternal grandmother, Laura Crooks, of Muncy; paternal grandparents, James and Claudia Hotchkiss, of Muncy; great-grandparents, Donald and Marianna Hotchkiss, of Muncy and Rebecca Wilcox, of Milton; and two aunts and two uncles, Sidney Hotchkiss, Devin Crooks, Calob Crooks and Hailey Crooks.

She was predeceased by a great-grandfather, Stephen Wilcox.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2026 at the Muncy Cemetery, 204 E. Penn St., Muncy.

The family will provide the flowers and requests donations be made to the funeral home to help defray costs.
