Ann E. Wilson, 88, of Muncy and Lewisburg, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born September 19, 1933 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Ethelyn (Painter) Cramer. In 1955 Ann married Robert J. Wilson, and together they celebrated 46 years of marriage, before his death in 2001.

She was a 1951 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School, Philadelphia. For several years Ann worked in the Springfield Township school cafeteria, Montgomery County and for the former Sperry UNIVAC, Fort Washington. Most of her life, she worked as a secretary for St. Mary’s Villa for Children and Families, Ambler.

Ann was a former member of the Crossroads Church, Muncy Campus and currently attended Muncy Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.

She loved the lord, reading the Bible, singing hymns and attending church gatherings. Ann lived in Oreland, with Robert until his death. In 2004 she moved into the McCarty Apartments, Muncy, spending time with her companion, Dale Cavanaugh. Then in 2014 she moved into River Woods, Lewisburg where Ann enjoyed the company of her many friends.

Surviving are a daughter, Denise Wilson, of Muncy; and possibly a sister, Lorraine Behm, of Philadelphia.

In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Gregory Smith; a brother-in-law, Albert Behm and her companion, Dale Cavanaugh.

The family is planning a memorial service to be held at 10 am Thursday, March 10 in the conference room at Ridge Crest, 270 Ridge Crest Circle, Lewisburg, with Rev. David L. Dearing, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Robert Rice, of Muncy Baptist Church.

Private burial will be held in the George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.

The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
