Alma Louise Culp, 91, of Bethlehem and formerly of Lewisburg, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth.
Born November 22, 1927 she was a daughter of the late Franklin and Maude (Bobb) Clark. On August 31, 1948 she married Rev. Raymond F. Culp, who preceded her in death April 11, 2015. Together they celebrated 66 years of marriage.
Alma attended Watsontown High School and later graduated from Allentown Bible Institute, Allentown. She spent her entire life raising and caring for her family, as well as serving the Lord as a Pastor’s wife, supporting her husband at various churches in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Alma most recently was a member of Augustaville Wesleyan Church.
She loved to read, especially her Bible.
Surviving are two daughters and son-in-law, Marleeta D. Wood, of Bethlehem and Carlene M. and George Boldizar, of Germantown, TN; five grandchildren, Angelita Wood, Brad Boldizar and wife, Blair, Michelle Mears and husband, Curtis, Joe Correll and wife, Andrea, and Ian Culp; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Stephen Culp; and seven siblings, Mary Clark Cleaver, John Clark, Woodrow Clark, Paul Clark, Helen Clark Watson, Thelma Clark White, and Gladys Clark Kopp.
Friends and family will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Augustaville Wesleyan Church, 2548 PA-890, Paxinos, where the funeral will be held at 2 p.m. with Pastor Greg Clendaniel, officiating.
Burial will be held privately in Highland Cemetery, New Columbia.
