Allen W. Calvert Jr.

Allen W. Calvert, Jr., 75 of Montoursville, died Friday, September 25, 2026 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.

Born April 27, 1951 in Williamsport, he was the only child of the late Allen and Clara (Weaver) Calvert. On February 14, 1998, he married the former Helen A. Creighton, who survives. Together they celebrated 28 years of marriage.

Allen was a 1969 graduate of Williamsport High School. He worked many years in the parts department for various area auto dealers. After retirement he worked as a janitor at the Lycoming Valley Middle School and as a laborer at several local factories.

Allen was a member of the Freemasons. He enjoyed watching and participating in anything racing. Allen loved NASCAR, helping a friend with his car at the Clinton County dirt race track and drag racing, even taking his own car down the lane to get a time read. Big or small, Allen also enjoyed rebuilding RC cars.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Michael Calvert and his wife, Kay, of North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Christian Woodward, and his wife, Jessica, Michael Woodward and Isabella Calvert.

As per Allen's wishes there will be no services.
