William J. "Bill" Fogelman

William J. "Bill" Fogelman, Sr., 76, of Muncy, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

Born January 11, 1941 in Muncy, he was a son of the late Paul E. and Florence L. (Ranck) Fogelman. He and his wife, the former Shirley E. Cotner, celebrated 54 years of marriage before her passing two weeks ago.

Bill was a graduate of Muncy High School.  After graduation, he worked for the former Watsontown Pipe for several years before starting his own business, William J. Fogelman Excavation in the late 1960's.

Bill was an avid fan of Minneapolis-Moline tractors and machinery.  He loved to garden and farm.  Bill grew up farming at George Sherwood's farm and tractor store in Montgomery.  He was also formerly active in his farm and heritage club.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jessie Fogelman, of Muncy; one daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Ronald Bachle; sister; and four grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Mia and Jessica.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a son, William J. Fogelman Jr.; a brother, Robert E. Fogelman; and a sister, Patricia Fogelman.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Glenn McCreary, officiating.

Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
