Nancy L. Flick

Nancy L. Flick, 70, of 69 Peterman Lane, Hughesville, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born March 24, 1947 in Muncy, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas Miller and  Dorothy Mae (Foulkrod) Nuss.

Nancy was a 1966 graduate of Muncy High School. She worked as a certified nurse for over 40 years, beginning at the former Lysock View, Montoursville and then the Muncy Valley Hospital. Nancy retired from the former Sycamore Manor, Montoursville.

She was a member of the Muncy Baptist Church, where she sang in the church choir and participated in other church activities, including Bible study.

Nancy enjoyed ceramics, playing board games, adult coloring books and spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are a son, John W. Flick, of Hughesville; a daughter, Nicole R. Flick, of Hughesville; a brother, Richard M. Allen and his husband, Michael Stancil, of Baltimore, MD; one grandson, Nicholas Flick; great-niece, Brittnee Vann, of Montgomery; and two friends, Carol Koch, of Hughesville and Angela Smith, of Williamsport.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Harold W. Allen and a sister, Mary Ann (Allen) Lewis.

Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Muncy Baptist Church, 11 W. Penn St., Muncy, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. with her pastor the Rev. Robert W. Rice, officiating.

Burial will be held privately in the Muncy Cemetery.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions in Nancy’s name be made to the Muncy Baptist Church, 11 W. Penn St., Muncy, PA 17756.

The family is being  assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
