Mary T. Kramer

Mary T. Kramer, 89, formerly of Muncy, died Tuesday, November 27, 2018 surrounded by her family at their home in Allenwood.

Born August 30, 1929 in Williamsport she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Elizabeth (Hamm) Tupper.  On December 16, 1964, she married Earl R. Kramer Jr., who preceded her in death July 23, 2008. Together they celebrated 43 years of marriage.

Mary was a graduate of the former Saint Mary’s Catholic School, Williamsport.

She was a faithful member of Church of the Resurrection, Muncy.

Mary retired from the former Montgomery Sportswear.

She loved spending time with her family. Mary enjoyed watching the Steelers, and was very fond of  animals, especially her beloved cat, Homeboy.

Surviving are five daughters, Elizabeth Maynard and her husband, Nate, of Duboistown, Danette Confer, of Beech Creek, Michele Hudson and her husband, Floyd, of South Williamsport, Bernadette Crawford and her husband, Curt, of Binghamton, NY, and Wendy Thomas and her husband, Dave, of Allenwood; one son, Earl Kramer III, of Muncy; five sisters, Norma Brenner, of Texas, Kathryn Hamm, Bernadette Servey, Josette Miller and her husband, Warren, and Margaret Wenner and her husband, Donald, all of Williamsport; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by six children, Lynette, Steven, Lawrence, Christine and William Steinbacher, and Barbara Sue “Petunia” Kramer; one sister, Ann Balzer; and five brother’s-in-law, Bernard Brenner, John Klopp, John Hamm, William Servey and Bernard Balzer.

Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at Church of the Resurrection, 75 Musser Lane, Muncy, where a Memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m., with her pastor, the Rev. Glenn McCreary, officiating.
