Irene Wilson

Irene Wilson, 86, of Montoursville, died Monday, December 23, 2019 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.

Born October 18, 1933 in Clearfield, she was a daughter of the late David and Hulda (Pentz) Crain. On September 3, 1964 she married Donald R. Wilson, Sr., who survives. Together they celebrated 64 years of marriage.

Irene graduated from Williamsport High School and received her nurses training at Lock Haven Hospital. She worked at the Divine Providence Hospital in pediatrics and as a nurse for the Visiting Nurse Association, Williamsport and the Williamsport Home.

Irene was of Christian faith.

She loved to cook and take trips to a good thrift store to browse. Irene enjoyed watching QVC. Earlier in life, she was active in teaching Sunday school.

Surviving in addition to her husband are one son and daughter-in-law, Donald R. Jr. and Joan Wilson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and Andy Fisher and Cindy Kay and Larry Aguilar; and three grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Irene was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.

A private graveside service will be held in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
